Cadillac SRX Comparison

2015 CADILLAC SRX vs. LEXUS RX 350, AUDI Q5

2015 CADILLAC SRX PREMIUM COLLECTION vs 2015 LEXUS RX 350 W/ NAVIGATION PACKAGE

SRX advantages include:
More personalized luxury - The SRX Premium includes standard tri-zone automatic climate control as compared to the RX's dualzone. Plus SRX Premium's standard UltraView Sunroof provides a panoramic opening compared to the RX's standard moonroof.

More personal convenience - The SRX Premium includes power-adjustable pedals and Adaptive Remote Start. Adjustable pedals are not offered at all on RX 350, and Remote Start is a $499 accessory.

More driving convenience - Front and Rear Park Assist are standard on the SRX Premium (an extra-cost option on the RX).

Longer wheelbase - SRX has a longer wheelbase, which contributes to smooth ride quality.

Advanced infotainment functionality - While Lexus RX 350 includes the Enform system, SRX comes standard with the CUE system, which includes gesture recognition, proximity sensing and a screen that is larger than the Enform display. Plus the Enform display is not a touch-screen like CUE. Nor does it interface with a reconfigurable DIC like SRX.

Standard OnStar with 4G LTE - SRX includes a Wi-Fi hotspot that can connect up to seven devices. RX 350 offers nothing comparable.

OnStar RemoteLink - Lexus makes apps available for Remote Start and locking, but they are not standard like on Cadillac SRX. Lexus's version of RemoteLink is an accessory priced at $799.

Advanced connectivity - Cadillac SRX includes two standard media ports; RX 350 has only one.

More power - The Cadillac V6 puts out 38 more horsepower and 17 more lb.-ft. of torque than the Lexus RX 350 V6 engine.

More driving flexibility - SRX's larger fuel tank yields a longer driving range.

More confident braking - 4-wheel vented disc brakes are standard on SRX. RX 350's rear brakes are solid discs, which can overheat more easily, increasing the possibility of brake fade and longer stopping distances.

Larger wheels and tires - SRX Premium includes standard 20" wheels, compared to the RX 350's standard 18" or even their optional 19".

Outstanding active safety - SRX Premium includes outstanding active safety standards like Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and the exclusive Safety Alert Seat, which are not available on the RX 350. Buyers can equip the SRX Premium with both Automatic Collision Preparation and Front and Rear Automatic Braking. Automatic Collision Preparation is available on the RX, but Front and Rear Automatic Braking is not offered. And while the RX is equipped with HID headlamps, they are not adaptive.

More peace of mind - SRX provides outstanding ownership coverage with longer roadside assistance and standard courtesy transportation coverage.

Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance - SRX owners receive complimentary scheduled maintenance for 4 years or 50,000 miles. Lexus RX owners receive only 2 complimentary visits at 5000 and 10,000 miles for the first year only.

2015 CADILLAC SRX PREMIUM COLLECTION vs 2015 AUDI Q5 3.0T PREMIUM PLUS

SRX advantages include:
More personalized luxury - The SRX Premium is equipped with a standard heated steering wheel and standard ventilated front seats. Ventilated seats are an option on the 3.0T Q5 Premium Plus, and a heated steering wheel is not available.

More personal convenience - The SRX Premium includes standard power-adjustable pedals with memory and Remote Vehicle Start and offers available Adaptive Cruise Control. None of these features are available on the
Q5 3.0T Premium Plus.

More driving convenience - Front and Rear Park Assist is standard on the SRX Premium, but it is optional on the Audi Q5 Premium Plus.

More interior room - SRX is longer, taller and wider than the Q5. This translates into more cargo room, especially behind the first row. In fact, SRX has nearly four cubic feet more cargo space.

Advanced infotainment functionality - SRX Premium's standard CUE system includes a color touch-screen with gesture recognition and proximity sensing. Q5 Premium Plus's MMI system is optional and comes with a smaller screen that is not a touch-screen. Additionally, SRX Premium includes standard HD Radio; it's optional on the Q5 Premium Plus.

OnStar RemoteLink - Audi Connect, which is packaged with MMI, does not include anything comparable to RemoteLink.

Advanced connectivity - A 4G Wi-Fi hotspot is standard on the SRX Premium. On the Q5 3.0T Premium Plus, it is available only as part of the optional Technology Package.

Standard navigation - SRX Premium includes standard navigation using CUE's advanced touch-screen. Audi's navigation system is enhanced with Google Earth and Google Maps but is optional on Premium Plus.

More power - The Cadillac 3.6L V6 produces 36 more horsepower than Audi's 3.0L supercharged V6 engine.

More economical regular fuel - While the Q5 is rated at slightly higher fuel economy ratings, more expensive premium fuel is recommended to achieve those ratings. SRX drivers save at the pump with regular fuel.

Larger wheels and tires - SRX Premium includes standard 20" wheels. The Q5 3.0T Premium Plus comes standard with 19" wheels and offers 20" wheels as an option.

Outstanding active safety - SRX Premium includes many standard and available advanced safety technologies not offered on Q5 Premium Plus. And only SRX features adaptive HID headlamps.

More safety after a crash - Cadillac's OnStar includes Automatic Crash Response, among other critical services. Audi offers nothing to compare.

More peace of mind - SRX provides outstanding ownership coverage with a longer powertrain warranty, longer roadside assistance and standard courtesy transportation coverage.

Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance - SRX owners have their first 4 years or 50,000 miles of scheduled maintenance performed free of charge. Audi Q5 owners receive a single maintenance in the first year or 5000 miles.
