Advanced convenience - Canyon SLE includes automatic climate control, an auto-dimming inside mirror and Remote Start, none of which are available on Tacoma with the TRD Package.

More functional and easy to use cargo box - Canyon's segment-exclusive CornerStep rear bumper, EZ Lift & Lower tailgate and 13 available tie downs make access and use of the box a breeze. Tacoma has just four fixed tie downs.

OnStar with 4G LTE - Canyon customers enjoy a wireless hotspot that can connect up to seven devices. Tacoma offers nothing comparable.

Best-in-class maximum trailering and payload capacities - Canyon 4WD SLE Short Box Crew Cab is rated at 7000 lbs. max trailering, which bests the 4WD Tacoma Double Cab by 600 lbs. Canyon V6 can haul more than 1600 lbs., over 350 lbs. more than the comparable Tacoma.

Standard Tow/Haul mode, Hill Start Assist and Duralife brake rotors - Tow/Haul mode and Duralife rotors are not offered on any Tacoma and Hill Start Assist is only available in one package.

Advanced active safety - Canyon offers outstanding active safety features-Lane Departure Warning and Automatic Collision Alert. These features are not offered on any Tacoma.

OnStar Automatic Crash Response - Provides immediate in-car assistance and sends help, even if Canyon occupants cannot respond. Toyota offers nothing comparable.

More seat comfort - Canyon SLE includes 4-way power front seats with heated seats. Frontier SV seats are manual adjust with optional heated seats.

More convenience - Canyon SLE includes standard Remote Vehicle Start, auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, rear sliding window with defrost, steering wheel-mounted cruise controls and a steering column that telescopes. Frontier SV V6 offers none of these features save for the option of an auto-dimming inside mirror.

More functional and easy to use cargo box - Canyon is equipped with segment-exclusive the CornerStep rear bumper, EZ Lift & Lower tailgate and 13 available tie down locations in a cargo box that is over 3" longer than Frontier's box, which has just four cleats that fit into box channels for securing cargo.

Advanced infotainment functionality - Frontier SV is not even offered with NissanConnect, so lacks all the features of IntelliLink, including a touch screen, streaming audio, Pandora or voice recognition.

Navigation - OnStar includes turn-by-turn navigation, and Canyon SLE buyers can opt for an imbedded navigation system. Nissan offers no navigation system on Frontier SV. Of course, Nissan offers nothing like OnStar's RemoteLink either.
